After two years of suspension due to internal challenges, the highly celebrated Kabba Day Festival is set to return in grand style on Saturday, November 8th, 2025.

In a statement signed by Alhaji (Hon.) Zachary Ejibunu, President General of the Kabba Development Union (KDU), the community expressed gratitude for the restoration of peace and stability. He emphasized that Kabba Day remains a true symbol of identity, unity, and collective progress for the people.

To ensure smooth preparations, the 2024 Kabba Day Planning Committee will remain in office, with the previously submitted budget scheduled for review within the week to guarantee effective execution.

The leadership further called on all sons, daughters, friends, and well-wishers of Kabba to give their full support—morally, spiritually, financially, and collectively—to make the 2025 celebration a resounding success.

More than just a festival, Kabba Day 2025 is expected to stand as a testament to resilience, unity, and the rich cultural heritage of the Kabba people.

Long live Kabba! Long live our unity and heritage!
