Screening runs March 9–April 18, 2026; candidates urged to print invitation slips, avoid scammers.
Abuja, Nigeria – The Police Service Commission (PSC), in collaboration with the Nigeria Police Force (NPF), has announced the schedule for the physical and credential screening of candidates who successfully completed the online registration for the recruitment of 50,000 Police Constables.
The screening exercise will hold across the federation from Monday, 9th March to Saturday, 18th April, 2026.
How to Check Status
All applicants are directed to log in to the official recruitment portal:

Upon logging in, candidates should:
1. Check their application status
2. Print the following required documents as indicated on their Invitation Slip:
· Guarantors Form
· Application Submission Slip
· Invitation Slip
· Credentials Screening Form
· Physical Screening Form
Required Items for Screening
Candidates must present the following original documents at their designated screening venue:
S/N Item
1 Invitation Slip (with assigned TABLE number)
2 Credential Screening Form
3 Original National Identity Number (NIN) printout or NIMC-issued card
4 O’ Level (GCE/SSCE) Certificate
5 Birth Certificate or Declaration of Age
6 Local Government/State of Origin Certificate
7 Trade Test/Certificate (for Specialist applicants only)
8 Duly completed and signed Guarantors Form, with photocopies and passports of referees attached
9 All credentials neatly packaged in two separate white flat files (Original and Duplicate copies), with recent passport photographs attached
Dress Code
Applicants must appear at screening venues wearing:
· 👟 White canvas shoes
· 👕 White T-shirt
· ⚪ White shorts
· 🧦 White stockings
Venues
Screening will take place at designated locations within each State and the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) as specified on the candidate’s invitation printout.
PSC Chairman’s Warning
DIG Hashimu Salihu Argungu (rtd), mni, Chairman of the Police Service Commission, reiterated that:
“The recruitment exercise is absolutely free of charge and without any pecuniary obligation. The process will be conducted in the best tradition of transparency and accountability.”
He advised all applicants to:
· Be wary of online impostors, scammers, and criminal elements attempting to exploit the recruitment process
· Anyone found engaging in fraudulent activities will be arrested and prosecuted.
About the Recruitment
This recruitment of 50,000 Police Constables is part of the Federal Government’s ongoing effort to strengthen the Nigeria Police Force, improve security architecture, and provide employment opportunities for Nigerian youth.
