Hon. Engr. Mojeed Alabi Balogun reaffirms commitment to youth empowerment, educational advancement.

Ikeja, Lagos State – In a landmark move to boost educational access and youth empowerment, the Executive Chairman of Ikeja Local Government, Hon. Engr. Mojeed Alabi Balogun, has facilitated the presentation of 500 free Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) forms to indigent and qualified students across the council area.
The initiative, implemented under the AKOD Education Support (AKOD-ES) Programme, is a key component of the Chairman’s I.K.E.J.A Agenda, which prioritizes education as a foundation for sustainable development and social transformation.
Representation and Message
At the ceremony, the Chairman was ably represented by the Vice Chairman of Ikeja Local Government, Hon. Abisola Omisore, who conveyed Hon. Balogun’s heartfelt message to the beneficiaries:
“This gesture is not just about providing examination forms; it is an investment in your future and in the future of Ikeja. Under our I.K.E.J.A Agenda, education remains a central pillar because I am convinced that the progress of our community depends largely on the preparedness and excellence of our young people.”
The Chairman urged the beneficiaries to take the opportunity seriously, study diligently, remain focused, and strive for excellence.
