Egbe, Yagba Land — The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has officially approved the newly completed 288-capacity Computer-Based Test (CBT) Centre at Titcombe College, Egbe, for the conduct of its examinations.
The state-of-the-art CBT centre was constructed through the intervention of Senator Sunday Karimi, in partnership with the Titcombe College Old Students’ Association, as part of deliberate efforts to expand access to quality examination facilities and strengthen educational infrastructure in the area.
With this approval, candidates from Egbe and surrounding communities will now be able to sit for JAMB examinations much closer to home. This development is expected to significantly reduce long-distance travel, ease examination-related stress for students, and improve overall convenience and accessibility.
Education stakeholders across Yagba Land have described the approval as a major milestone, applauding Senator Karimi and the Titcombe College alumni for investing in a project that reflects foresight, commitment to education, and strong community impact.
According to JAMB officials, the centre meets all required standards and specifications and is expected to be fully operational for upcoming examination exercises.
