At no time, they added, has Toyin Abraham complained about another filmmaker’s box office success. Her long-standing concern has consistently been about fair and adequate cinema showtimes, which directly influence box office performance and revenue.
The statement further acknowledged that filmmakers currently achieving top box office rankings deserve commendation, especially given the challenging environment in which producers operate. Despite structural limitations, the industry continues to grow and record notable milestones.
